A Walk-about Tour of Hague - Photo Story
This week is so busy! In my effort to see to it that Dad has his dentures in time for the weekend - and any possible four-generation photo ops, we’ve ended up with three appointments in one week. One Monday, one this afternoon, and the last one I hope, on Friday. (I must slip the denturist a thank you card today to explain why I’ve been a bit pushy on this).
It just happened that there was a funeral yesterday in our church for the mother of one of our lay ministers. Dad and I wanted to be there, so we took off yesterday afternoon. - That comes to four afternoons this week that I’m sacrificing my email hours. Oddly enough, by sacrificing some other blocks of time, I’m not as far behind as I first thought I would be. But then, the week is only half done.
I gave up my writing night last night, to prepare a photo story for you. It’s a walk-about tour of Hague, my hometown here. You’ll find it at Ruthes-SecretRoses.com/A/Hague-Tour.shtml The photos were taken a week before Easter, and you’ll spot some clumps of old snow. Those are all gone now, the grass is turning green everywhere, the trees are budding and should be in full green leaf by the end of this week! Walking is a real pleasure early in the mornings.
I was going to work on the Author photos too, but it got too late. I have pulled out about 8 out of 27 shots that I think have some potential. I’ve cropped out some of those, but they need a bit of doctoring yet. I promise, I’ll get on it as soon as I can!
On Monday morning I did whip up an article to answer a question asked me on Sunday about my mission work. As I thought about it my answer got longer and longer. You can read the start of it below in Ruthe’s Roses.
