“The RoseBouquet”

Did I say I was going to stop fussing about my site-author-photos? Well, I took some more on the weekend. I went to a garden wedding on Saturday, and took some of myself afterward, and also on Sunday morning. These are the best yet! If no one steals my 2-3 hour this afternoon, I’m going to finally decide which one(s) I should use.

In fact, if I switch all my pages over to use an “includes file” in the spot where that photo is to show up, I can make changes more often, maybe even seasonally, by simply changing the link in that one includes file. Presto, then all 600 pages on that one site will have the new photo showing. It may take a week or two to fix that up, but then I can rotate my choices and don’t have to settle on just ONE photo. Clever, eh?

Other news is that I have my first two clients for hosting services. I’ve been busy the last week or so helping the first one to be able to “see” her site, but that’s resolved now. The second one is going to have a bit of a learning curve to it too, but I suspect it will be fun. (Hint: recipes).

No bites on the poetry hint last week, so I’ll drop that idea. No problem. It was a passing fancy.

Tess, a subscriber, did ask about more photo stories of our garden. I did not get to it last night, but looked at the number of photos, and whew - I have quite a few! So I’ll try to honour that request soon.
