Introducing One’s Self on Social Media
I’m learning in business that you need to learn to introduce yourself and let people get to know you on social media. Well, I can see the principle, but now I need to figure out how to shoehorn this into my daily routine in an effective way.
It’s crazy how my mind goes blank when I go onto Facebook over lunch. I end up browsing what everyone else I know is up to, but I can’t think of what to post about myself.
So I’ve got this idea, and I’m looking for feedback to discover if this is the way to go about it.
I need to make a list ahead of time of short, interesting bits of information to share, and then just work down my list(s). I’m sure I could chatter about myself, but I already do that in this RoseBouquet; how original do I need to be?
I could offer tips on writing, producing a book, and on computers and minor linux repairs, etc.
As for my fan/biz pages on two of my sites, the aloe-vera-and-handy-herbs one and the Bouquet of Enterprises pages… Hmm… If I took time for a few earnest brainstorming sessions, I should be able to share about those topics too. But would that gain me more friends or followers?
See, I’m looking for tips and solutions from You today.
