Take a 28 Day Adventure Challenge
February starts tomorrow. It is the shortest month of the year. Are you game for a month of new adventures?
Recently I read an article by an author named Dianne Dixon. She explained how she spend so much time all alone writing, that she accepted a challenge from a friend to say “Yes” to anything new that presented to her for a whole month. She had some amazing adventures, just doing things like helping neighhbours with wedding flowers, having an allergy attack and spending the day in bed with her eyes swollen shut. 🙂
I don’t know if such things would happen to you, but what if you took risks for a whole month. Maybe you should be creative and come up with your own challenge correlated to whatever you need more of for a month.
Eating a valentine chocolate every day in February – hmm… seems a bit tame, doesn’t it?
How about saying, “I love you!” to everyone you talk to for more than 2 or 3 minutes?
How about writing a poem every day for a month?
How about saying “Yes,” to whatever anyone suggests to you for a month? (Oh, I hope you’ll share your adventures with me!)
Do you need a new exercise habit? It takes 21 days to form a habit, they say, so how about doing a certain exercise every day through February? Just to form a habit.
Okay, don’t let me do all your thinking for you; come up with your own unique challenge. And please tell me about it!
I’ll try to come up with something for myself today yet too.
